Temple Weddings
Temple weddings at any of the Utah Temples are beautiful. No matter what time of year you choose to get sealed, Temple Weddings provide an amazing backdrop for beautiful pictures.
The following are some tips to make your day picture perfect.
1. It takes about 1 hour post sealing time to exit the Temple Doors. Make sure everybody knows what doors you are going to exit from, as this may change from time to time.
2. I always arrive a half hour early. If you are going to exit earlier than expected, please text or call me.
3. Be prepared for bad weather. Things can change in ten minutes or less in Utah, so if your getting married in the Winter, Spring or fall, have somebody bring a jacket, gloves, hand warmers, etc. for you outside of the Temple.
4. If your getting married in the summer, have someone bring some bottled water.
5. Its better to have people waiting for you outside the Temple early, rather than you waiting for them to show up, so tell people that are not part of the Temple sealing to show up 30 minutes prior to your Temple Exit. They can always wait inside the Temple if the weather is bad.
6. Try to arrange you Temple Exit early in the morning, or Later in the day for the best lighting for pictures.
7. On busy Temple days, there will be a lot of people wanting to get pictures on the Temple steps. Be respectful to other couples by knowing that you do not have to take all of your pictures on the Temple steps. Many smaller group pictures can be taken in other locations at the Temple. You should be on the Temple steps for no longer than 20 minutes.
8. For women, have somebody bring a touch-up makeup kit, hair brush, etc.
