Finally, a sunny snow filled perfect day! When Kathryn asked me to shoot a Tibble Fork Winter bride and groom session, I told her it would probably be cold and cloudy, because that's what the weather report said it would be. But you know Utah, the weather report is never accurate. instead we got a relatively warm bright sunny evening.
Even though I did not need a sunny day to get great pictures, its nice to have some with the sun in the background to get those beautiful sun flares streaming out of the sky, and the last few shoots I did here we did not get any. But today was different. Even the sky, which can be hazy in the winter time late afternoon, was fairly clear.
So off we went to my favorite spot on the top of the hill to get some beautiful light streaming pictures and some with beautiful Mt. Timpanogos in the background. We even had to wait a few minutes for the sun to get closer to the top of the mountain so the background would not be too bright.
But non of this mattered to Kathryn & Jared who were laughing and smiling the whole way up the mountain, then back down again. It was like they were in their own world as we did the photo shoot and all I had to do was record it. Its nice and rare not to have to tell people what to do to get pictures. Usually its move your arm here, twist your body their, but not this time. This time I just held on for the ride!
