Summer Teapot Lake Engagement Session with Maggie & Dan
The Summer Teapot Lake Engagement with Maggie & Dan was an adventure! We did not start at Teapot lake. As I do in many sessions, I try to combine more than one location. We actually started at Soapstone Basin. The flowers in the aspen trees were gone, so we started by taking pictures in the main area of the meadow.
After Soapstone Basin, we went to the Upper Provo River Falls. The falls this time of year are very beautiful as there is not as much water running over them, so you can see the gold colored rock in the background. Also there were not so many people there so it was a lot easier to do the shoot.
After the Provo River Falls, we finally ended up at Teapot Lake. I had only been to Teapot Lake once before, but it was such a beautiful lake, I knew i wanted to do a photo session here. The only thing I did not like about the lake and the surrounding area was the number of dead trees. Due to the bark beetle infestation, over a third of the pine trees are dead or dying. But the lake itself is beautiful, and I especially loved the lily pads in the lake that had yellow flowers on them.
This Summer Teapot Lake Engagement with Maggie & Dan was an adventure I will never forget. Three beautiful locations, and lots of fun.
The pictures above are just a very few of my favorites from the Summer Teapot Lake Engagement with Maggie & Dan. Enjoy!
