Summer Guardsman's Pass Engagement with Mikela & Hunter

The Summer Guardsman's Pass Engagement with Mikela & Hunter was a new place to take pictures for me. Every since Albion Basin basically banned photography by imposing sever limits like only shooting pictures on the path and a $300 photography fee, photographers like myself have been scrambling to find beautiful places to take pictures that have wildflowers. And since the flowers at Soapstone Basin went away, I had to find a new location. So, I scouted out the Guardsman Pass area, and found this beautiful location with tones of wildflowers and no fees or restrictions.

I have always wanted to do a photo shoot at Guardsman Pass, but it has never looked as beautiful as it did today. There were hundreds of different varieties of wildflowers with every color of the rainbow. So I called Mikela & Hunter a day before the photo shoot and told them where to meet me.

Mikela & Hunter were amazing to work with. I hardly had to give them any directions. I just let them be who they were, a loving couple getting some pictures taken. But we did not take all the pictures at Guardsman pass. After we went to Silverlake in Brighton to finish off the session. That way we got a lot more variety of pictures with the lake in the background. We have a Fall Bride and Groom session scheduled later this year and I cant wait to shoot that session!

The pictures above are just a very few of my favorites from the Summer Bridal Veil falls Engagement with Hailey & Chandler. Enjoy!
