Nestled amidst the majestic peaks of the Wasatch Mountains, Tibble Fork Reservoir serves as a stunning backdrop for capturing the timeless beauty of love. And for Maggie & Landon, their summer bride and groom session at this picturesque location was nothing short of magical.
Having shot at Tibble Fork Reservoir numerous times before, I knew that the horse trailer turnaround point, situated higher up the mountain, offered unparalleled views and a sense of tranquility that perfectly suited this reserved and quiet couple. Although it required a 15-minute walk up the road, the breathtaking vista awaiting them made it well worth the journey.
From the moment Maggie and Landon arrived, it was clear that they were more comfortable in each other's quiet company than in large crowds. I wanted to create an atmosphere where they could simply be themselves, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
As a photographer, I put a lot of thought into selecting locations that suit each couple's unique personalities. Despite not having shot their engagements, my conversations with Maggie and Landon prior to the session led me to believe that Tibble Fork would be the perfect spot for them. And indeed, it was.
We explored various areas around Tibble Fork, seeking out different backdrops and scenes to add variety to their collection of images. However, it was the upper shoot locations that truly stole the show. Against the backdrop of towering peaks and crystal-clear waters, Maggie and Landon's love radiated, creating a sense of serenity and beauty that was truly captivating.
Despite their reserved nature, Maggie and Landon's affection for each other was evident in every shot. Whether they were sharing a quiet moment of intimacy or simply enjoying the breathtaking scenery around them, their love shone brightly, illuminating the entire mountainside.
Working with Maggie and Landon was an absolute pleasure, and I am grateful for the opportunity to capture their love in such a stunning setting. As their wedding day approaches, I eagerly anticipate the chance to document their journey as they embark on this new chapter of their lives together. Cheers to Maggie and Landon, and to the beauty of love found amidst the tranquility of Tibble Fork Reservoir.
