Winter Jordan Pines Snowy Engagement with Jess & Austin
The Winter Jordan Pines snowy engagement with jess & Austin was so much fun I forgot that I actually get paid for this! Now there is snow falling lightly, and there is regular snow fall, but this was a blizzard. Snow was coming down in sheets for a while, making distance shots impossible. The snow was even building up so much we had to take breaks to wipe it off their hair and shoulders. The snow was even so deep in some places that Austin had to carry Jess. Did you notice she was wearing tennis shoes and no warm socks? Crazy!
This is what Jess and Austin wanted! Lots of snow falling in a winter setting with pine trees in the background. And after a while the snow let up and just started gently falling down. It was so beautiful! There was even a small pine tree that somebody had decorated near the side of the road. I say near but to get to it there was a 20 foot walk through 3 feet of snow drift. then I had to make a hole for them to stand it by the tree.
This year there has been a lot of snow in the mountains, and freshly falling snow in a pine tree forest could not be a more perfect background for this engagement shoot. Jess and Austin had lots of fun throwing snow balls, and in some cases just dumping snow on each other.
Towards the end of the shoot we slid down a path to the road to keep from falling on the icy road. I had ski pants on so it worked for me, but Jess and Austin got covered in snow.
