Grace & David's Mule Hollow Engagement, as you can see from the picture above, was a lot of fun. We actually shot in two locations, Mule Hollow and Jordan pines, but mostly in Mule hollow. And, once again I am making an effort to catch up with my blogging as I think I can keep up this year and I'm only slightly behind as of now.
Grace & David wanted a wintery pine tree background for their engagement session, which was good because right now that's what we have in most places, and what better location than Mule hollow. This location is great for unique and amazing snow covered rocky views, and colorful rock formations. It is not in of itself, a good place to go for an entire shoot as it is limited, so you need another location for variety, in which we chose Jordan pines as the second location.
The biggest challenge is getting up, and down the hill leading to the best shoot location at Mule Hollow. Many times its covered with deep snow and is pretty steep, making the climb very slippery. And there are some beautiful places to stand to get beautiful views, if you are not afraid of heights.
At the base of the hill, we found some beautiful icicle formations that we had to get in the pictures. After that, the shoot evolved into a snowball fight and we had to end there before Grace & David froze.
We had so much fun, I can't wait to take pictures of there bride and groom session in Moab in March!
