Fall Utah Lake State Park Bride & Groom Session with Michelle & Chad
The Fall Utah Lake State Park Bride & Groom Session with Michelle & Chad did not happen on the day we has scheduled. For a variety of reasons they had to re-schedule the session, but I was already there so I had already scouted out eh best places to take pictures.
I have been to two other Utah lake locations and have shot many sessions there prior to finding this new location. I honestly did not think there was any good locations on the east side of the lake because I had driven all around the lake a year ago and did not see any place to shoot other than where I already knew. So, when Michelle gave me some pictures that she liked doing a google search of "Utah Lake" it actually came back with a picture another photographer had taken at Antelope Island, which was a picture of "a Utah Lake", not Utah lake itself. So I drove for hours trying to find the location in the pictures she gave me and ultimately realized it was not Utah lake. I still wanted to find something that looked similar because Michelle and Chad did not want to drive to Antelope Island. Then I found Utah Lake State Park.
Michelle & Chad were a lot of fun to work with. It was dangerous shooting on the steep rocky marina break, and we were as careful as possible, and Chad was helping Michelle every step of the way, but Michelle almost took a nosedive when she stepped on her dress and tried to move, but due to her quick reflexes, she was able leap over a few large rocks like a cat and she did not get injured. Even her dress was untouched!
The pictures above are just a very few of my favorites from the Fall Utah Lake State Park Bride & Groom Session with Michelle & Chad. Enjoy!
