Carly & Ian's Spring Bridal Veil Falls Engagement was really a combination of two locations, one near the mouth of the canyon at a restaurant/shopping center, the other at Bridal Veil Falls.
Carly told me that she wanted Spring Blossoms and a waterfall, a tall order considering that both don't exist anywhere I know of in this state. Waterfalls are usually in higher elevations, and spring blossoms at the lower elevations.
We did the shopping center location because it was the only place near Bridal Veil Falls that had Spring blossoms on the trees. It was fairly limited, so we only spent about ten minutes there before we were off to Bridal Veil falls. Also, we did the shoot in the morning because that's the only time Carly & Ian had available, which was nice because I had a shoot later that day at Little Sahara.
Its a fairly easy hike to the falls, about 10 minutes, but its tricky when you actually get to the base of the falls as there are lots of loose rock, and Carly's beautiful boots had heals and were not exactly meant for rock climbing! But she did great and climbed the side of the waterfall and went out on the ledge with the help of her fiancé Ian.
