Abby & Conner's Winter Tibble Fork engagements were so much fun, and I have finally caught up to this years blogs! Once I catch up I am going to try to stay caught up, but as always, clients getting their pictures on-time will always surpass my social media goals.

It was a very beautiful but cold day at Tibble Fork reservoir when we took these pictures. But Abby and Conner's exploits warmed up the whole mountain. I was wearing ski pants, thermals, a heavy jacket, snow boots and gloves, and my face was still cold, so I know they must have been freezing so I kept them moving.

We started with a walk up the road to the top of the hill, then worked our way down the hill. Then we went around to the other side of the lake down the snowy/Icey path. I can tell you at any given time of the year just by looking at past pictures, where the sun will be at what time. This is my normal way of shooting here, as you get the best light in the best places at the best time.

When we were about halfway done with the photoshoot, Abby and Conner wanted me to take pictures of them sledding down the mountain. Because the snow was kind of soft, it was difficult for them to get going at first, but then we found a steeper slope and off the went. I was worried for a minute that they were going to wipe out they were going so fast.

Conner got the worst of the snow as he was trying to use his feet to slow down the sled. But neither of them were to worse off for a fun ride down the hill, and were were able to dust them off and keep shooting.

Abby and Conner are two of the nicest people you will meet, and I was happy to be a part of their special day.
