The Winter Manti Temple Wedding with Taylor & Logan did not feel like winter. I have shot weddings in the driving snow this time of year in Manti, or with a foot of snow on the ground, and even in the pouring rain, but this was very different. There was no snow, a blue sky, not to cold weather, and no clouds to be seen! Ok, yes, I like snow, its great for skiing, and other winter sports, and we need it to make the landscape green in the spring, but it can make shooting a wedding difficult, especially when you have the long vertical climb to the back side of the Manti Temple to deal with.
I had already shot Taylor & Logan's engagement pictures in the fall, so I knew they were going to be a lot of fun to work with. But I did not know that their families and friends were going to be so great as well. Everybody helped out and we got a lot of great shots of not only the family by the steps, but of the bridal party as well.
Taylor looked amazing in her beautiful dress, and Logan was handsome in his stylish blue suit, and red tie and corsage that matched Taylor's beautiful bouquet of red roses. And even though it was about 43 degrees, Taylor & Logan never complained once. I guess the beauty of a temple wedding was keeping them warm that day.
